Oil Only Absorbent Booms is also named Oil Containment Booms, they are made by 100% Polypropylene material with Melt-blown Technique. Are widely used to stop the spread of a oil spill and are the first line in oil spill containment. Once you have Oil Only Absorbent Booms in place you can then use pads, rolls or pillows to recover the split liquids.

Oil Only Absorbent Booms are ideal for coiling around machinery to contain and absorb any oil leaks and drips.
They are also used to form a ring around larger spills to act as an absorbent barrier.
Oil Containment Booms are floating barriers used to contain and minimise the spread of oil on water. Enclosed in a strong outer netting for durability, hooks and rings(loops and clamps) are attached for linking together to form any required length. Hooks are placed 30cm in from each end of the oil boom to form an overlap which acts as an extra barrier against oil escaping. 

For application area, oil absorbent booms, oil absorbent socks and oil absorbent pads are being used to soak up oil floating on the surface or clinging to plants, boats and structures, for instance, among the Marine & Offshore Environmental Protection, Refineries, Pipeline Industry, Major and Independent Oil & Gas Companies, Trucking Companies and Petrochemical Plants.
